After a big hit in the Final, Luca Bosco is constricted to retire in the ROK Cup.
It has not been an happy ending for Luca Bosco in the 2016 ROK Italian Final. The Baby Race driver arrived at the Adria Raceway Karting to capitalize the good performance showed in the first half of the season in a track where he was able to achieve the top scores whether Vortex engines used in the ROK championship or the TM used in the Italian Championship and WSK Promotion events.
After the hard work made with the team during the free practice sessions, Bosco was able to score the 15th place during the qualy in his group. After that, he fought very hard during the heats scoring the 6th and the 10th position in a couple or race plenty of overtakings. In the Prefinal Bosco finished 13th which allowed him to start in the Final in the middle of the pack. After a good start, Bosco was unfortunately victim of a big hit from another driver which broken his chassis and constricted him to retire from the race. It was a sad conclusion of a very intense week end in which his expectations were much higher then the real final results achieved.
Luca Bosco: “I am very sorry for this end in Adria, without the retire we could score a very different result. The pace and the feeling with chassis were very good. We had all the credentials to point the TOP 10. Unfortunately starting in the middle of the grid is always very risky and complicated, especially in a crowded category as the Mini Rok. I’ll try to bounce back in Triscina and Lonato in the Rok International Final. ”
Now Bosco will have only a few days to charge his batteries before going back on track for the 4th round of Italian CSAI Karting at Triscina.
