The Bosco 2017 racing season is keep going. After the great achievements in the ROK Cup and in the Italian Karting Championship, the italian Baby Race driver is coming back home from England with an incredible 8th place in the OKJ category got in the CIK FIA World Championship, which has taken place last week at PF International Karting Circuit. This stunning event was attended by almost 100 OKJ drivers and Bosco, since the first free practice session, was able to fight for the top positions of the overall standing. During the qualifying session Bosco was immediately extremely quick, setting the 3rd best lap time, just 1 tenth behind the polesitter showing to be one of the fastest of the entire OKJ field. After this stunning result, the Baby Race driver started the heats fully concentrated and motivated ending 13th, 8th twice (two times best lap), 2nd and 3rd, moving to the final as one of the claimants to the hot spots of the standing. In the Final Bosco, starting from the 6th row (11th), thanks to the great heats results, had to fight very strongly against the others loosing some positions in the very first laps and coming back later until the 7th position overall. Only at the very last part of the race he lost one spot dropping back in 8th position and ending in the TOP 10 this amazing World Final. This result pays back all the efforts done by him, his mechanic-coach Alessandro Manetti and the whole Baby Race team during the season so far. Bosco has been the best italian driver classified in the OKJ overall standing.
Luca Bosco: “I’am extremely happy. This week end was so tough because I had to compete against almost 100 strong drivers and I couldn’t make any mistake. The weather has been better the expected and I really liked the track, that’s why we have been able to be in the pace the whole week end. The hard job made by the team and by my coach Manetti was awesome and I did my best to pay them back. I’am so proud to have been classified as the best italian driver in OKJ category.”
