No regrets and always focus on the next goal to achieve. This is the Bosco’s racing attitude. Putted aside the bad luck suffered the Round 1 – WSK Final Cup, Bosco has come back on track this week end with the only goal to take his personal revenge and close this amazing season with the best result possible. Very quick since the free practice sessions, Bosco fought for the pole position against Minì (Parolin), missing the top spot for just 1.5 hundred of second. Later in the heats Bosco kept his incredibile pace ending twice in 2nd place, once in third and once in 4th overall, proving to have the driving skills to catch the overall podium.
In the Pre Final Bosco, started 2nd, lost some positions when the red lights went off but was able to come back quickly ending the race in a deservedly 3rd position, after many brave manoeuvers. In the Final too Bosco, started from the 3rd row of the grid, had to fight very hard to grab the third step of the podium under the chequered flag. With this amazing result, Bosco caught the thid position overall in the WSK Final Cup (OKJ category), ending in the perfect way an amazing “rookie” racing season. Despite to his low experience in this new category (OKJ), Bosco has been able to win this season the ROK Cup World Championship, being the best italian driver in the CIK FIA World Championship and becoming Vice Champion in the ROK Cup Italy and in the ACI Karting Championship. The key roles of his racing achievements were his tireless training, concentration and huge amount of tips brought from his mechanic coach Alessandro Manetti, former world karting champion.
Luca Bosco: “I’am so happy about my season. I’ve achieved so many great results that I would never have tough at the beginning of the season, being my very first OKJ season. It a pity about the first round of the WSK Final Cup because without the bad luck we could have won this series too. A massive thanks to Alessandro Manetti, who has built up my professional career this season, and to my partners who have supported me during the season.”
The WSK Final Cup has been the last Bosco race with the Baby Race Team. Soon it will be communicated the 2018 racing plan of the italian driver.
