Baby Race driver scored 3rd and 2nd at Lonato in the ACI Sport series.
The great performances shown since the beginning of the season had demonstrated that Bosco was ready to step on the podium and finally his first OKJ podium has come in the first round of the Italian Karting Championship at Lonato. This first round of the italian series has been almost perfect for the Baby Race driver: in any sessions and heats Bosco always leaded showing an incredibile pace in his category. Unluckly the wheater conditions have changed on Sunday with a lot of rain fell on the track just before Race 1: despite of this Bosco confirmed his pace on wet too. In Race 1 Bosco was leading the first laps but being overtook soon by his team mate Brizhan who got the first position. Later Bosco started an incredibile fight with Al Habsi ended with the italian driver able to catch the 3rd position under the chequered flag. In Race 2 Bosco started from the 6th place on the grid but with a great start he took immediately the 2nd position. Lap by lap Bosco built later a consistent gap between him and the rest of the field, closing the race in 2nd position. A perfect week end for him who will be fr sure one of the main pretenders for the OKJ italian title.
Luca Bosco: ”I’m very happy even if I would have preferred to be on top of the podium. I was very quck for the whole week end but on wet Brizhan was extremely quick too. This douple podium means a lot for me looking forward the rest of the championship. Thank so much to my team and to Alessandro Manetti for supporting me in the best way possible this week end. “
Next week end Bosco will be again on track for the ROK Cup Italy which will take place at Circuito Internazionale 7 Laghi at Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV).
