Luca Bosco got the first podium of the 2016 season in the Final Round of the Italian Karting Championship in Sant’Egidio Val Vibrata.
The Baby Race driver attended the last event of the Italian Karting championship in Sant’Egidio Val Vibrata with the clear target to brig back what the bad luck has stolen him in the latest races and to achieve the first podium of the season. More focused and concentrated than ever so far, the Italian driver joined a two-days of testing the week end before the race in order to prepare in the best way the race, togheter with his mechanic Christian Fossati and the team manager Roberto Toninelli, who helped him a lot to learn the secrets of the drivelines of one of the more technical circuits of Italian karting scenery.
This kind of strategy paid off right since the free pactices when he scored the best lap time in his group. The positive trend was kept in the official qualifying and in the first Heat too, concluded in the second position very close behind the leader. Starting from fourth place in Race 1, the twelve years old driver immediately pushed hard to get the third place and to finish on the third step of the podium. This result was got, once again, in Race 2 where he was starting from the 3rd row due to the reverse grid. Starting from there, Bosco pushed very hard since the very beginning of the heat and, with a lot of spectacular overtakes, he finally got the first podium of the entire 2016 season.
Luca Bosco: “Finally we did it. It was exactly what I was expecting, especially after a difficult period like the last I passed. With this double podium we have shown that we don’t miss the pace and when the bad luck goes we can always be in the front pack. I want to thank all the Baby Race team crew, who always has given me a very strong technical materials. This is an incredible achievement and is very good for my mood especially now cause we are very close to the week of the ROK Cup International Final of Lonato “.
With the eighth position conquered in the championship thanks to two podiums, Bosco is now ready to look forward to the Lonato’s ROK International Final in which he will try to achieve the success which Baby Race got in 2014 with Nicola Abrusci.
