The Baby Race driver will compete amidst 290 drivers in the OKJ category.
Bosco’s racing season is coming to a crescendo after 2 very strong performances in Adria for the WSK. The Italian driver is set to battle it out at another crucial calendar event: the Winter Cup.
The 1.2km South Garda track is set to host a contingent of nearly 300 drivers from the all around the world for what is considered one of the best races of the season. In the crowded OKJ category Bosco will have to fight against almost 60 competitors, amongst whom are included the best top drivers. Boosted by his strong showing at Adria earlier this year, the young Italian is confident in his aim for a podium finish despite being a rookie. This is an important race for Bosco right before he heads off to compete in the upcoming round of the WSK Super Master Series to be held at International Circuit Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV).
Luca Bosco: ”After the very tough race in Adria, due to the awful weather, I am anxious to race in the Winter Cup in better conditions. Lonato has a strong line up of drivers and I will strive to learn with each heat and make it on to the podium.”
The activities on track has started yesterday, 15th February, with 5 free practice sessions followed, today, by four more free sessions. Tomorrow, Friday 17th, Bosco will run the warm up, the qualifying session and the first heat. Saturday 18th the drivers will attend all the other heats and then, on Sunday, they will run the warm up, the superheat and the Final.
