The italian driver missed, in the Finale of Siena, the result he expected and deserved.

The last event of the KRS Open Series by WSK Promotion held in the Circuit of Siena, have been harder then expected for the italian Baby Race’s driver Luca Bosco. After his successfull last races, the driver from Nice has come in Siena looking forward a podium in the 60 Mini category, but his final result have been affected by some “bumps” against other competitors, especially during the Qualifying Heats.

After being very quinck during the free practices, scoring the 4th and the 7th position overall, Bosco qualified 9th with 2.7 sec of gap behind the polesitter Paparo. With a lot of expectations, the italian karting driver started his qualifyng heats very focused and he scored the 11th, 14th and 3rd position overall, due to some unexpected big hits with other drivers.

These results affected the starting grid position of Bosco in the Pre Final where he started from the 8th position: anyway he fought as a lion finishing under the chequered flag in 9th position. In the Final heat Bosco started 17th (row 9) gaining a lot of positions with a making a lot of great overtakes and finishing 12th, just off the TOP 10.

Luca Bosco: “In this particular part of the season i grown a lot in term of speed and in term of capacity to handle the critical phases of the race. This week end went not so good with less results then i was expecting, but that’s racing and i have to accept it. My special thanks are for my mechanic for his big support and now i look forward for a bit of summer rest to be again on track in September for a full gas final part of the 2016’s racing season.”

The next Luca Bosco race is now scheduled the 10-11th September in Adria per the italian Final of the ROK Cup Italy .
