The italian driver suffered technical problems in the Adria’s ROK Cup Final.

Luca Bosco came in Adria attending the ROK Cup Italy (Area Nord) event looking forward to improve his personal season’s score, but the bad luck didn’t allow him to achieve the result he would have to. During the qualifying session Bosco settled the 4th best lap in his Mini 60 category, but he was very unlucky in the Pre Final. Started well from the second row on the grid, he had soon a contact with another driver and he dropped back in the field. After some overtakes, he took the chequered flag on 7th position but, after the race, the Race Director has given to him 10 seconds of penalty due to the initial racing contact. This penalty dropped back Luca Bosco in the Final Starting Grid. Despite to this big penalty he very focus to try to put his kart in the front final positions. Unfortunately during the formation lap some fuel dropped from his tank because the gasoline cap was not correctly locked and he was costrict to go back immediately to the parc fermè. It was a big shame for him to miss the Final heat, but the target of the driver for the rest of the season is still keep going.

Luca Bosco: “We have been very unlucky in the Pre Final and in the Final because we were very quick in the free practices and in the qualifying. When i bumped against another driver i knew that the event was over for me but i tried my best to finish, as much as possible, in the front positions. The fuel problem during the formation lap in the Final closed definitely my unlucky week end here in Adria.”

Luca Bosco has now scheduled his next race in Adria, the 2nd and 3rd July, for the first event of KRS Series (WSK).
