In a weekend of disastrous conditions, italian driver Luca Bosco finishes as Top Rookie and 6th overall in OKJ Category.
After a notable debut in the WSK Championship cup, Bosco was back at it again at Adria Karting Raceway for the WSK Super Master Series. Bosco only having had the bare minimum of test time on track managed to prove his prowess by qualifying 18th on the grid. Despite only having 2 races under his belt Bosco exhibited great skill and determination, finishing in 6th,8th and 9th in the first 3 heats while a front fairing penalty saw him falling down to 15th in the last heat. As the weekend progressed Bosco seemed to have to only gotten faster, finishing the pre-final in 6th place, pulling times at the same pace of the race leaders.
Starting from the 5th row for the final, Bosco managed a beautiful start, putting him in in a fight for 5th position and eventually settling for 6th as torrential downpour further deteriorated racing conditions on track.
Having only been his second race in the new OKJ Category it was a great achievement for the Italian driver to have finished in the top 10 only 2 seconds behind 3rd place.
Luca Bosco: I’ am very happy with my result. At the start of the weekend, it was difficult trying to find the right set-up especially with the extreme weather conditions. Regardless, I came to Adria to chase the leaders and finish in the top ten and I have accomplished that. ‘
Luca now has a little time off to rest and regroup before he heads off to test in Lonato for the Winter Cup, set to take place on the 18-19th February.
