The one which is just ended at Adria Karting Raceway it would have been a perfect racing week end for the Baby Race italian driver Luca Bosco. During the first WSK Final Cup round, Bosco has fought as a tiger against more then 70 top drivers in the OKJ category showing, once more, an incredible racing attitude and maturity. Since the very beginning of the week end, the Baby Race driver was on pace scoring the best lap in one of the free practice sessions and the second spot in his qualifying session. Perfectly shaped and fully confident on the technical support provided by his team, Bosco drove beautifully in all the 4 heats, scoring a victory, a double second and a third place after a penalty of 3 seconds collected at the end of the race. These incredible results have made the difference and in the Pre Final Bosco had the chance to start from the pole position: after the green lights Bosco was able to keep the leading position chased by his main rival Paul who overtook him just after a couple of laps from the start of the race. Unluckly for Bosco when he was ready to come back to the leading position he suffered a technical failure and was forced to retire. A big shame for him who was really focus on the final victory after being the more consistent driver on track of the entire week end.
Luca Bosco: “The whole week end went great until the Pre Final. It’s tough for us to think we have missed the victory for a technical problem, but that’s racing. I have to thank anyway my team, my incredible coach-mechanic Manetti and now we look forward the next one. We’ll come back on track next week end even more concentrated and determinated to bring back what we have lost this time.”
Next week end Bosco will be again at Adria Karting Racetrack to attend the second and final round of the WSK Final Cup.
