The start of the 2024 season is just around the corner and the BWT Mücke Motorsport Team are all set to take on the challenge of the 2024 ADAC GT4 Germany series. Newcomer 19-year-old Italian Luca

Bosco is joining the well established Berlin-based outfit for this season and will compete alongside young German talent Mattis Pluschkell in the team’s Mercedes-AMG GT4. The 19-year-old from the French Riviera was mad about racing even at an early age and achieved his first success in karting at an early stage in his career after competing in various race series. He won the ROK Cup International Final of the Junior ROK series in 2017, taking first place in the ROK Cup Superfinal in the Shifter ROK category just two years later. Luca switched from karting to a GT4 racing car in 2021 when he contested a race in a vehicle with a roof for the first time. He was able to book third place in the Pro-Am category of the GT4 European Series and competed again in the GT4 European Series the following year at the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG GT4. “We are delighted to have Luca join our team,” said Stefan Mücke. “He may still be quite young but has already notched up many successes with two titles to his name in karting and third place in his debut year in the Pro-AM class. He has gained experience of racing the Mercedes-AMG GT4 from time spent in the GT4 European series. We are confident that Luca and Mattis will make a formidable combination and achieve instant success as they tackle their first season in the ADAC GT4 Germany. Both are very talented and willing to learn. We are all really looking forward to starting the new season with them in Oschersleben.” The signing of 19-year-old Mattis Pluschkell, with whom Luca Bosco will be sharing a cockpit this season, was first confirmed back in November. Originally from Rostock, Mattis is now moving up from the ADAC Tourenwagen Junior Cup to join the ADAC GT4 Germany. He won five races in his debut season and finished runner-up in the ADAC Tourenwagen Junior Cup at his first attempt in 2023. During the last few months, he has been lining up in the GT Winter Series in Spain where he has taken two podium finishes from three races. Drivers and teams are preparing to start their sixth season in the ADAC GT4 Germany this year. The opening race weekend will kick off in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, 26th-28th April. The race calendar features six race weekends in total with the highlight of the year taking place at the Norisring in Nuremberg. As laid out in the regulations, two drivers share a car and swap over halfway through the race. Two one-hour races are on the schedule for each of the six weekends.
