Unhappy ending for Luca Bosco in the WSK Promotion season Finale.
In the WSK Final Cup, closing round of the series held by Luca De Donno’s organization, the Baby Race driver was excluded from the top positions battle. In the Pre final of the Mini 60, the stewards inflicted him a penalty of 5 seconds due to the loss of the front spoiler at the end of the heat.
The Bosco ‘s racing weekend had started positively, scoring eighth position in his group in the official qualifying session. The “pace” was confirmed in two of the total four heats, closed in sixth and fourth place, meanwhile in the two remaining sessions the Italian karting driver was victim of contacts and unable to score better than twenty-second and twenty-fourth under the chequered flag. The thirtieth position in the ranking forced Bosco to be very aggressive at the start of the Pre Final B, where he gained the qualification for the Final. Unfortunately, the front bumper was not in the correct position (due to some contacts in the hectic phases of the race) at the end of the race and the stewards gave him a five-seconds-penalty on his overall time, excluding him from the Final.
Luca Bosco: “It’s frustrating to miss the access to the Final due to a penalty, but that’s racing and I must accept it. I’m disappointed because we had the potential to keep that pace till the end and we have demonstrated it since the free practices. The good tought of the week end is that karting teach u anytime. Now I can’t wait to get to Sant’Egidio Val Vibrata to attend the final round of Italian Karting Championship“.
The WSK Final Cup is stored and now Bosco has almost two weeks to recharge batteries and to look farward the last round of the Italian Karting Championship at Kartrodromo Val Vibrata (TE).
