In the WSK Champions Cup opening, the Baby Race karting driver debuts in the new category.

After being one of the most competitive drivers in the 60 Mini in 2016, the italian Luca Bosco (Baby Race) is now ready to make his debut in the new category OKJ this week end in the WSK Champions Cup in Adria. The entry list of the first event of the season includes 250 karting drivers splitted in 4 categories  (60 Mini, OKJ, OK e KZ2).

During the winter time, just after his last race in the 60 Mini in Las Vegas, Bosco has driven a lot during the testing sessions organized by his team in Castelletto di Branduzzo, Lonato and Adria and now he’s really fitted to compete against the 65 drivers included in the OKJ entry list. In the new category Bosco will fight against some former 60 Mini drivers plus many experienced drivers who are alrady racing in the OKJ since many years. During the whole winter testing period Bosco has worked a lot with the Baby Race technical staff improving his performance and his feeling with the brand new chassis and engine. In the 2017 season the italian driver will attend the WSK, the Italian Karting Championship, the CIK FIA European Championship, the Junior CIK Fia World Championship, the Winter Cup, the Italian and International Final ROK Cup, the Trofeo delle Industrie, the Trofeo Margutti and the Trofeo Senna.

Luca Bosco:I’am very excited to start ths new adventure in the OKJ. Since the very first km of testing i felt in good shape driving the OKJ, which is quicker and stronger to drive compared to the 60 Mini. I’ve trained a lot during the winter to be perfectly fitted for the start of the season and during each testing session on track i’ve tried to improve my knowledge about the new kart and its setting secrets. The collective test, last week end in Adria, was really great for me, in terms of performance, and i am confident for ths Champions Cup.

The official timetable of the event will start thursday 26th with 4 free practice sessons moving, the day after, to other two free practice sessions, qualifying session and the first two heats. Saturday 28th Bosco will attend the warm up and last three heats then, Sunday 29th, he will run another warm up, the Pre Final and the Final.
